Flying over beautiful green landscape

I recently visited my home country Slovakia. The nature in the summer time is very nice, everything is green, and the landscape is simply beautiful.

I simply had to arrange a flight to see this beauty from the air and to enjoy the feeling of freedom to fly around. My brother joined me and we were able to hire a Cessna 172 at a near aerodrome Očová (LZOC) for a short 1 hour flight. They have a grass strip 26/08, 800 meters long.

A lot of gliders and other aviation activities can be found there, such as paragliding, etc.

In the Canary Islands there are no possibilities to land on a grass strip, and most of the flights are above the sea. It is really great to enjoy a different landscape, with a lots of “alternative” airstrips.

Short flight around Tenerife

Short flight around Tenerife.

I´ll just share with you some images taken during my short flight around Tenerife last week… Tried to mount the gopro on a different place of the plane (horizontal stabilizer) and I simply love the images!!!

At the end you can find a short video of the flight with my friend Dirk as co-pilot as well! He did a great job and we had a great time up in the air!
