View at Arenas Negras ( last eruption 1706).
Behind it, you can see volcano Chinyero. At this place, in 1909 the last registered eruption in Tenerife took place. π Now itβs a very nice place for walking in the nature π Β

Volcan Chinyero Tenerife
Too hot for walking. Better to take a plane and enjoy the overview π
I am surprised though that this volcanic pimple erupted a whopping 7.700 ft below his fellow brother El Teide himself.
I guess it scared the shit out of the locals 110 years ago. Must be the reason why they built the Garachico swimming pools: to freshen up after an eruption π
On the other hand, now you know where to go when El Chinyero starts to burp: el Roque de Garachico! Must be a hell of a view.
You’re rright, it’s easier to access by the plane π
Unfortunately I can’t recall the reaction of the local people on the eruption, but I could ask around if someone reminds something π
And in the case of the next eruption? To take the Piper and just fly away π
Reads like a script of an action movie. I see even a blockbuster coming: “Chinyero’s final blowjob”. Leaving room for a sequel: “Blowing in the (tail)wind”.
I’m off starting to write a first draft …
With this titel you would get (even more) rich! πππππππππ
